Flora FFA wins Farm Bureau’s Hunger Games competition

By Carlie Wilson

The Flora FFA participated in an FFA Hunger Games can food drive last week in honor of National Agriculture Week. Flora High School collected the most non-perishable items with a total of 447 cans of food for the Clay County food pantry. The event was sponsored by the Clay County Farm Bureau Young Leaders.

All schools in Clay County participated in the Hunger Games. The Clay County Farm Bureau hosted a pizza party on Tuesday for all of the students that donated cans of food.
